Pension Administrator Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months) Location: Darlington (Hybrid Working) This role offers the opportunity to work within our dynamic Benefits business unit, encompassing Employee Benefits and Administration. We are looking for a dedicated Pension Administrator who is passionate about providing exceptional member service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-Day of the Role: Serve as the first point of contact for pension scheme members, handling inquiries and providing support through various communication channels including telephone, email, and post. Perform daily administrative tasks related to pension schemes such as payroll processing, bereavement support, correspondence, complaints handling, complex calculations, data capture, retirements, and transfers. Work closely with the Employer Support and Administration Services teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery. Engage with members and provide clear, compassionate, and professional communication. Support the administration of third-party client services as part of the Operations team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in pension administration, particularly with defined contributions. A minimum of 2 years of relevant pension knowledge. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on quality and efficiency. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Passionate about continuous learning and professional development in the pension administration field.
