An opportunity has arisen for a Principal Engineer – Electrical Test to join the Requirements and Validation department department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. What you will do The electrical test team is responsible for all testing and integration relating to the Electrical team across all projects. The key areas covered by the team are: DV & PV Hardware Testing at component and system level, including Electrical performance and EMC On Vehicle Test support and Integration. Manufacturing Support. Test Equipment and vehicle wiring build and support. Instrumentation and data acquisition The Principal Engineer – Electrical Test will be responsible for the management and development of the Electrical Test Team. To work with the greater electrical and project teams to understand the test and integration requirements for all projects. To develop the current team, processes, and equipment to provide the required support to the greater electrical and project teams. This will include increasing resource in the team to support the growth of the business. About you An engineering or other degree in a relevant discipline Proven experience in vehicle, hardware and software testing. Proven experience in Team/people management. Experience in all stages of an engineering development programme is essential. Strong understanding of design and development processes, and experience in a development environment. Able to use initiative, respond quickly to problems and manage own workload. Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). What is in it for you?
