What is the opportunity?
This role sits within our Strategic Corporate Finance (SCF) department, a team that helps businesses grow their valuation before an exit by using a combination of strategy consulting, research, M&A and by raising debt and equity funding.
As a SCF Analyst, you will have the opportunity to build the core foundation of knowledge and technical skills that spans finance, strategy, accounting, tax and business that are vital to a career in this field. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting client projects that will, over time, build the specialisms to eventually lead on key services that we provide.
You will be given full study support for the CFAB qualification in your first year of employment and thereafter for the CFQ or CFA qualifications.
What will I be doing?
* Analysing transactions, companies, industries and macroeconomic trends to assess the growth potential and value of our clients
* Conducting market research and identifying the opportunities that our clients can explore
* Conducting comparable company and transaction analysis to prepare valuations
* Generating informed opinions on strategic decisions and capital structure
* Assisting on a wide-range of mid-market deals through the preparation of teaser documents, information memorandum and valuation reports
* Assisting the wider team in ad-hoc research and analysis tasks
What experience do I need?
You might not have all of the experience below, but if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we'd love to hear from you:
* On course to achieve at least a 2:1 degree in any subject (minimum criteria)
* A minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) in your top three A-Level's (minimum criteria)
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications
* Good telephone manner with a professional appearance
* Strong communication skills within a professional environment
* Team player

What happens next?
Upon applying, you will be invited to undertake some initial tests (numerical and deductive reasoning) and a pre-recorded video interview, which we take the time to watch personally. You can complete these at your convenience, and you will not be required to finish it all in one sitting.
Successful applicants might then be invited to attend an in-person assessment centre. Someone from our team will be in touch to confirm within four weeks of you completing the tests.
