What you will be doing: The key responsibilities of the Planner role will include: Ensuring the 4 Weekly Planning Process is adhered to, Load vs. Capacity is balanced and understood by the Plant team Ensure Delivery plans are maintained for the medium term in SAP, identifying future risks and mitigation actions Governance of ERP Compliance and Inventory Planning / Forecasting Planning changes to parts (e.g. Production Introduction and Transfers) in line with Project plans such that appropriate Customer protection is in place Provide the business with changes to Customer and Financial metrics through simulated scenarios for a group of parts in line with Planning Models and toolsets Supporting SORB response and Business Reviews Meetings What we are looking for: Being a part of Rolls-Royce you’ll know we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. Good IT skills essential – predominately Excel and SAP Experience of working in an operational manufacturing environment would be beneficial An understanding of load and capacity planning Experience of Production scheduling, WIP management and Inventory control Understanding of Product Introduction processes and their interaction with Manufacturing Join us & Make an impact The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade 7-10.
