Are you an experienced Finance Assistant? Have you worked in sales ledger or credit control? Do you hold an HND/HNC or other relevant finance qualification? If so, our client, a manufacturing business, is recruiting for a Finance Assistant for their site in Larkhall. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements through updating and reconciling financial ledgers, and to ensure all sales invoices are
sent to customers and paid in line with payment terms.

Job Description
Raising daily sales invoices, issuing sales emails, and allocating customer payments while resolving outstanding payments on account.
Investigating overdue invoices, uploading overdue reports weekly, and reconciling debtors’ ledgers monthly for accurate financial records.
Providing weekly cashflow information and uploading customer factoring details to the provider.
Handling customer issues, debit notes, and price queries while issuing customer statements at month-end.
Supporting finance team operations, including holiday cover, Finance Apprentice development, and year-end audit processes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
HNC/HND or equivalent accounting qualification
Previous experience working in sales ledger or credit control
Good knowledge of ERP/MRP system
Good knowledge of MS Excel
