We are looking for an experienced Careers Adviser to work part-time across the HMP Maidstone and HMP East Sutton Park sites. Trainee Careers Adviser opportunity as well. Contract: Permanent – Part-time (three/ four days a week) Closing Date: 7 th October 2024. Interviews Held: Friday, 25 th October Do you have a passion for making a difference through career advice? Working within a collaborative team, you will provide professional, impartial IAG to prison residents, motivating them, developing work-related skills, and providing support to help them find employment, education, training, apprenticeships, or volunteering opportunities upon release. You will also manage and support a caseload of peer mentors and provide inspirational IAG and Employability programmes in 1:1 and group sessions. Qualifications and Experience Essential An IAG qualification at level 4 or above to be eligible for this role. You must also be able to build effective and professional relationships with individual clients, have a non-judgmental attitude, and desire to support people in fulfilling their potential.
