Sales Business Development Manager
My client, an established business in the food industry with a prominent presence in the meat trade, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team. Due to strong growth and ambitious plans, your expertise will drive the future growth of the business by creating and executing a robust sales strategy, supported by the Directors.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
2. Monitor sales activities and report as needed.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
4. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
5. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
6. Collaborate with other departments.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar sales environment within the food industry, preferably within Meat, Fish, or Poultry.
2. Strong network and credible relationships in the Food service/Discounted Retailer client base.
3. Excellent knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
4. Proficient in administrative tasks, such as creating reports and analyzing data.
5. Be open to travel as needed to meet with customers - very much your diary to manage.
