Job Title: Head of Sales Location: Reading - Hybrid Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience Summary: Our client is a rapidly growing financial services business specialising in invoice finance solutions for UK businesses. With an impressive portfolio of funding options, including Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, and Asset-Based Lending, they have provided over £200 million in funding to more than 10,000 UK businesses. The business has experienced significant growth since the launch of a new strategy in 2021 and is now looking for a Head of Sales to drive sales performance and leadership in the Southern region. The Head of Sales will oversee and lead the Southern Invoice Finance sales team, ensuring the team meets targets and aligns with the companys vision for continued growth. Reporting to the Managing Director of Invoice Finance, this position plays a key role in the company's overall sales strategy, business development, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimise the performance of the Southern Invoice Finance sales team, ensuring individual and team sales targets are met. Lead recruitment, training, and development of the sales team to maximise productivity and alignment with the companys commercial objectives. Drive sales team lead generation efforts, managing the pipeline and working closely with the Operations team for seamless client onboarding. Generate self-sourced business leads and distribute them effectively across the sales team. Attend meetings with larger or more complex clients to provide additional support and close high-value deals. Represent the company at industry networking events and sales promotions to increase brand awareness and generate leads. Report monthly sales performance, market trends, and forecasts to the Managing Director, Invoice Finance. Essential Requirements: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. 5 years of experience in a sales role within the Invoice Finance industry. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, intermediaries, and internal teams.
