Salesforce Release Manager (9-12 Month FTC) Fully Remote Fixed Term (9-12 Months) Are you an experienced Salesforce Release Manager looking for your next challenge? Elevation IT are seeking a detail oriented and proactive professional to oversee and manage the deployment of updates across our clients Salesforce estate, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving our client release management processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates applying should have expertise in JIRA, GIT and CI/CD. You will be overseeing the end-to-end process of deploying changes, updates and configurations within the Salesforce platform across QA, UAT and PROD environments. Key Responsibilities: Schedule, coordinate and oversee Salesforce deployments, ensuring seamless updates and minimal business disruption Represent the Salesforce estate at CAB approval meetings, aligned with the overall business process Monitor Salesforce updates and ensure the team is prepared for key releases Track all Salesforce changes and maintain alignment within the team Lead the improvement of release and pipeline management processes, including GIT, JIRA and CI/CD Plan release cycles and ensure efficient delivery of project milestones Align release schedules with business unit UAT, go-live plans and major campaigns to mitigate risk Coordinate required resources for releases, balancing third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases and infrastructure updates Identify and manage risks that could impact release schedules and quality Develop implementation and deployment plans to support a structured release process Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience working with Salesforce, including release management responsibilities Hands-on experience with GIT and branching strategies Strong knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes Experience with tool selection and delivery for deployments, with a focus on process improvements Familiarity with DevOps (preferred) and Agile methodologies Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Working knowledge of APEX Understanding of project management methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban Strong grasp of application, system and Salesforce architecture Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
