To provide reception/clerical support to the Podiatry Service in order that clinical staff can deliver an efficient and quality service to those patients seeking treatment. 3. Co-ordinate and manage the respective rotas for patient clinics based across the city. Proactively check for free slots in the clinic on a regular basis.
4. Book appointments for patients, ensuring that high-risk patients are seen within agreed waiting times and send out letters detailing the date, time, and place of appointment. Book interpreters for patients who require this.
5. Cancel appointments where necessary and ensure that all patients are informed and booked back into alternative appointments.
6. Undertake the referral process for access to podiatry services and send out relevant forms to patients and clinicians. Download new referrals, register all patients using SystmOne, and ensure referrals are ready for triaging on a daily basis.
