SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistants
* Special schools
* Immediate start ideal
* 8:30am - 3:15pm
* Providing support across school
* Leading pre-planned cover
We represent a number of special schools in the Stroud area that are looking for people that are able to provide (ideally full-time) cover as an HLTA. As HLTA, you really are the schools all rounder!
The schools look after students with a variation of SEND & SEMH for ages 4-16.
The role
The role of HLTA revolves heavily around leading pre-planned cover in whatever classes have a need. So naturally, being adaptable to different age groups and needs is essential. You must be confident in your classroom management.
This opportunity is suitable for experience TA's looking to step up into a role with more responsibility and also to any unqualified
teachers. SEN experience is a must have but the schools are open to applications from candidates with mainstream experience.
