Salary: £31,650 - £43,606 (Pro Rata)
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher (KS2) to join a dynamic team at a vibrant school in Torquay. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact on the educational journey of children in Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing the academic and personal development of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
* Deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons for KS2 pupils
* Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
* Support pupils' emotional and social development, helping them build confidence and resilience
* Work collaboratively with staff to promote a positive school culture
* Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and achievements
* Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
* Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* A positive, patient, and creative approach to teaching
