Role OverviewResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Driver Management: Brief and debrief drivers, plan routes and working hours, and assess run sheets for issues.
Operational Tasks: Print and supply run sheets, maintain consumable supplies, compile evening reports, and resolve driver performance issues.
Fleet Management: Check for damage, ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and presentable, and address defects.
Security & Safety: Lock up the warehouse, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and maintain mail security in line with MICOP regulations.
Team Supervision: Manage staff appraisals, assessments, and evening cover rota.
Collection Cover: Perform collection rounds during holidays and sick leave.
Proactive Communication: Foster positive relationships with staff, customers, and the Whistl Group.We welcome applications for this Warehouse Supervisor position from candidates with experience as a Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, and in transport.
Additional Information
Monday to Friday: 40 hours a week, 11:00 am - 8 pm.

Essential Skills
Ability to directly lead and take responsibility for a small team
Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Basic working ability in the use of MS Outlook
A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 unexpired penalty points
Awareness of health and safety good practice
Ability to drive a CB FLT or willing to be trained
