We are looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:
Key Responsibilities
* Provide maintenance support (Including Installation, planned, preventive and reactive maintenance) in relation to site services, plant/equipment.
* AHU, FCU and mechanical servicing/maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment.
* Form part of the on-call rota within the Maintenance Team.
* Seasonal shift pattern (some weekends/evenings)
* Prioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needs.
* Ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level.
* Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.
* Oversee the conduct of contractors on site, monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated.
* Deliver specialist technical support and services in relation to building plant/equipment.
* Ensure robust application of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes.
* Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
* Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
* Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
* Any other duties as and when required.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities?
* Engineering/Technical qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline i.e. mechanical/plumbing/HVAC
* AHU, FCU and mechanical servicing/maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment.
* The candidate should be able to write reports/jobs sheets either manually or electronically
* Experience in Building Services
* Good knowledge and level of competency in other areas of building services (BMS, Electrical)
* Full clean driving licence
