The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers in creating an effective and engaging learning environment. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in the classroom, working with students across a range of subjects and abilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Classroom Support: Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and providing additional support to students during lessons, including one-to-one and small group work. You will help reinforce lesson content, ensuring that students are fully engaged and grasp key concepts.
Supporting Student Learning: Helping students with varying abilities, including those who may need additional support. You will assist in developing students' academic skills, including reading, writing, and problem-solving, while also boosting their confidence and motivation.
Classroom Management: Supporting the teacher in maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment, ensuring students stay focused and follow instructions. You will help manage behaviour in a way that promotes respect and cooperation.
Assisting with Marking and Feedback: Helping with the marking of student work, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student progress. This will help you identify areas where students may need further support and development.
Extra-Curricular Involvement: Depending on the needs of the school, there may be opportunities to assist with extra-curricular activities, helping to enhance the students' overall educational experience.
About You:

A degree in any subject (2:1 or above).
