A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS MANAGER AT THE
MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY
What you'll be doing...
As Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you will effectively lead
and manage the Food & Beverage front of house department to an optimum
level. Working closely with Operational Teams, Executive Chef and General
Manager you will be committed to maintaining all targets financial and
operational, with the emphasis on operational excellence, forward planning,
organization, leading from the front. You will ensure the highest quality of
customer service in all areas. You will proactively drive HR, Cost Control,
Sustainability and Health & Safety initiatives throughout the department
and hotel.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our
requirements...
· A hotel food and beverage background with at least 3 years of managerial
experience in a quality establishment.
· Passion for interacting with people, with the ability to communicate
fluently, direct team members and maximise productivity within our full-service
hotel.
· An established record of strategic thinking, operational excellence and
strong product knowledge.
· Excelling in planning, knowledge sharing and being fully communicative
with your team and other departments.
Other duties include;
* Ensure
service standards and guest satisfaction are at the highest levels through
training, mentoring, monitoring, feedback and setting expectations. Orchestrate
a timeless memory and ensure our guests are delighted with our service.
* To be
fully aware of all H&S, legal compliance and procedural control requirements
* Strategically
maximise sales and identify upselling opportunities across all Food and Beverage outlets within the hotel.
* Duty
Management
* To
work positively and collaboratively with all departments, brand and Heartists®.
