Your Role
As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that sophisticated, high-performance systems meet the highest safety standards.
You will:
✅ Conduct hazard analysis and safety evaluations within a structured engineering process
✅ Develop and deliver Safety Case Reports, including FTA, FMECA, and Functional Failure Analysis
✅ Apply UK and international safety standards (experience in Def Stan 00-056 is ideal, but not essential)
✅ Work with electronics, software, mechanical, and system engineers to create safe and effective designs
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Experience in safety engineering, systems engineering, or reliability engineering
✔️ Strong understanding of risk assessment, failure analysis, and hazard identification
✔️ Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate safety cases effectively
✔️ Experience from industries such as aerospace, automotive, rail, energy, medical devices, or similar
✔️ A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering field
