Customer Sales Advisor
Location: Petersfield
Salary: £24,000-£29,000 + Commission
Hours: 40 hours 5 days a week including 2 Saturdays a month. Shift: 9am-5:30pm
My clients, a luxury retailer of bedroom and household furniture, are seeking a Customer Sales Advisor to join their friendly team in Petersfield. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service to all customers, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. To apply for this role, you will have proven customer service experience and the ability to build rapport naturally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage & respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner, understanding their requirements and providing accurate product information to help them select the right products - you must be confident face to face, by phone, on email, and live chat.
2. Write accurate detailed sales quotations in a timely manner.
3. Proactively manage enquiries to convert leads into sales.
4. Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a positive customer experience at every touch point.
5. Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively with a positive attitude both verbally and written.
6. Manage order fulfilment, working closely with suppliers and delivery teams.
7. Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and company news to provide accurate information to customers.
8. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our database.
9. Review and update reports and spreadsheets to keep orders on track.
10. Update and maintain sales literature, our e-commerce website, and retail POS system (training will be given across all systems).
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail.
3. Good numeric and negotiating skills.
4. Able to learn quickly and retain a great depth of product knowledge.
5. Passion for pleasing customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
6. Highly proficient in using computer systems and software applications including a working knowledge of Excel.
7. A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential attributes for success in this role.
