Community Champions - Wellbeing Support Officer
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 35hrs per week (Mon-Fri)

As a key advocate for the Community Champions project, you’ll engage with residents, businesses, and NHS services to promote wellbeing and foster partnerships. From door-to-door outreach to organising events, you’ll connect individuals to vital resources, recruit volunteers, and support diverse community needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Community engagement and outreach.
Volunteer recruitment and training.
Promoting health initiatives and local resources.
Monitoring project impact and reporting outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Training:
Relevant qualifications or experience in community development, social work, health promotion, or a related field.
Essential Experience:
Knowledge of why people volunteer and how to attract people to volunteer
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A working knowledge of IT and all Microsoft applications
Skilled in problem-solving and developing creative solutions to challenges
Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related area
Experience working with diverse populations, including underrepresented groups
