About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and SUVs.
They are looking for a Vehicle Engineering & Architecture Lead Engineer to join their team on a long-term rolling contract basis.
Skills/Requirements:
As a Vehicle Engineering & Architecture Lead Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
* Problem Solving
* Liaise and interface with multiple functions to apply high value customer innovations and compile robust assumptions and data to develop the requirements and features chosen for implementation on/into the architecture toolkit.
* Manage a complex flow of changing information, coming from all functions and maintaining records appropriately, whilst tracking and communicating this to all those affected, including issue of technical status summaries for project reviews.
* Manage the Vehicle Engineering technical delivery activities against a series of vehicle architecture and programme deliverables along with defining and applying clear and compatible technical assumptions as well as lead the successful resolution of technical conflicts and problems proactively.
Qualifications / Skills needed:
* Engineering degree or similar relevant academic training and experience
* Driving License
* Experience in Automotive or Aerospace Industry
