Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Hotel General Manager at Alton House Hotel in Alton. The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining budget goals, and optimizing food & beverage services. Responsibilities Lead and manage all operational aspects of the establishment, including kitchen and front-of-house activities. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations. Manage Hotel Revenue & Rates Daily Develop and train a cohesive team, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure adequate supplies are available. Create and manage staff schedules to optimise productivity while ensuring adequate coverage. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service delivery.
