About the Role
Tesco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineering Manager to lead its Detection Engineering team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in security engineering and threat detection.
The successful candidate will work closely with other teams across prevention, operations, and automation to deliver effective cyber defensive outcomes. As a Security Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for evaluating and prioritizing cyber threats to Tesco, applying industry frameworks to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, and defining procedures to identify detection opportunities and assess risk reduction.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with security operations teams to support incident management, investigation, and response activities, conducting research to define research goals, generate innovative ideas, summarize findings, and contribute to organizational security strategy, and understanding Enterprise technology infrastructure, systems, solutions, tools, and architecture.
