Salary: A competitive salary from £51,920-£77,880 depending on the experience you can bring

The Conduct Risk team is involved across Aegon on all regulatory change and conduct matters. This includes providing support and challenge on regulatory change projects, working across the Risk function on governance and controls and supporting the strategic direction of the business. The Conduct Risk Manager also brings our regulatory responsibilities to life for colleagues, role modelling our purpose and behaviours across Risk and the wider business.
Reporting to the Senior Conduct Risk Manager, this role will play a vital role in delivering initiatives designed to transform and elevate the delivery of good customer outcomes in Aegon.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
1. Life and Pensions, or asset management/funds industry and product knowledge.
2. Detailed knowledge of the UK financial regulatory environment, particularly the conduct requirements of the FCA.
3. Worked in a Risk function to develop the depth of knowledge and skillset in the second line by building effective relationships and contributing to shared priorities.
4. Acted as a subject matter expert on regulatory risk and conduct queries from across the business, focusing on good customer outcomes and helping develop colleague knowledge and awareness and/or have experience in undertaking compliance monitoring reviews.
5. An understanding of risk methodology, for example: risk identification, assessment and mitigation methodology, regulatory risk appetite and risk tolerances.
6. An ability to provide constructive challenge and influence others.
7. An ability to deal with multiple complex pieces of work through effective prioritisation, time management, organisation and, where required, escalation.
