Location: Wolverhampton. Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.30 - 4.30pm approximately. Term Time only + 3 weeks (42 weeks a year worked)
Salary: £11.72 p/hr - £12.04 p/hr Annual Salary £22,553 - £23,169 (Full Time Equivalent £24,378.00 - £26,582.00) depending on experience.
This is a unique opportunity to be instrumental in the growth of a new school and to make your mark on the growing services. This SEN School in Wolverhampton offers a bespoke education provision for up to 80 pupils aged 5-19, who have ASC/SEMH needs.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications You Need for this job
1. Must have excellent computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to use a range of databases.
2. Good level of literacy and numeracy (at least 5 GCSEs above C to include English and Maths or the equivalent).
3. Demonstrable experience of working in administrative roles or experience of working within a school environment.
4. Good organisational skills, ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
5. Able to manage own time to deal with multiple tasks.
6. High levels of interpersonal ability, with excellent written and verbal communication.
The Role
To be part of the Administration team and provide support with Exams Administration and maintaining the school's Management Information System (MIS). It is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a 'can do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.
Key Duties:
1. To be part of the Administration team as one of the first points of contact for the school: welcoming visitors and responding to telephone and email enquiries in a helpful and constructive manner.
2. Providing Exams Administration.
3. Maintaining the school's Management Information System (MIS).
4. Ensuring the safety and security of the school at all times, making sure that the front door is locked and entry to the premises controlled.
5. Maintaining, updating, sorting and retrieving a range of records/statistical data for student assessments.
6. Following standard procedures for security of confidential data and information.
7. To support colleagues and senior members of staff to achieve their own work objectives effectively and efficiently.
8. Maintain positive relations with parents/carers, local authority personnel and the community.
Like many SEN environments; your duties are likely to vary and therefore candidates will need to be flexible and be able to lend a hand whenever required.
