Service Advisor Needed
Location: Heathrow
Our client, a family-owned commercial vehicle repairs and maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their team.
The ideal candidate will display a high level of customer service and communication skills, a good technical understanding, and previous experience within a commercial workshop environment.

HGV Senior Service Advisor
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
Requirements of Service Advisor:
1. Experience working with Commercial Vehicles
2. Display a high level of customer service and communication skills
3. Technically minded with good mechanical knowledge
4. Basic computer skills
5. Numerate
6. Minimum 3 years' experience
7. IT Literacy
8. Brilliant levels of communication written or verbal
9. Enthusiastic, Flexible Team Player
10. Excellent customer service skills
11. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and build relationships in all situations
12. Well organised with great time management skills
13. Resilience with the ability to work well under pressure and to targets
14. Ability to influence and negotiate in a professional manner
15. Passion for service excellence
16. Knowledge of Kerridge/CDK system
17. Previous dealership experience, Mercedes-Benz experience preferably
18. A good technical understanding/previous experience within a commercial workshop environment
Key Responsibilities for Service Advisor:
1. Responsible for booking in vehicles into the workshops, working with our workshop controllers to manage the workshop loading, keeping customers up to date, and building relationships to deliver a first-class service.
2. Advising customers, updating customer authority numbers, progress chasing, and raising the correct documentation.
3. Aim of first-time approval and costing of jobs which includes both estimating and invoicing.
4. Respond to all maintenance and repair requests ensuring all customer and vehicle data is captured.
5. Active review of planned work to ensure customer readiness.
6. Establish scope of repair and maintenance, gaining customer approval where required.
