Job summary We are looking for a digital communications and engagement officer who is passionate about providing innovative ideas, digital expertise and supporting the communications team to deliver key projects. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated digital communications officer to join us, as we deliver a number of exciting new digital projects, including significant website and intranet redevelopments. You will be forward-thinking, with the skills to develop our digital communications channels, engage with the public on social media and provide trusted communications advice to senior managers. We are a dynamic team supporting more than 10,000 colleagues across numerous locations, working closely together, sharing best practice to ensure we are able to deliver effective communications. About us Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. To support the maintenance of the NELFT corporate website (including production of content) working with the relevant members of the team.
