Senior Care Assistant Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be the core of everything we do, providing high-quality care to our residents with kindness, dignity, and independence.
This is a night shift position, and you will be responsible for planning and implementing care that meets the unique needs of each resident. You will build strong relationships with our residents and their families, helping us deliver personalized care plans.
You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and being a positive influence on the rest of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting Registered Nurses and Care Managers in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
* Administering medication as required
* Maintaining accurate records of your job and building strong relationships with your team
To be successful in this role, you will have an S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, experience in person-centered care planning, and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. We value your positive energy, natural ability to get along with people, and considerate communication skills.
