Teaching Assistant - Oxford - Full-Time, Part-Time & Contract Roles - February 2025 Start
Salary: £80 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team in Oxford. This role offers the opportunity to support students in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings, helping them achieve their full potential. Whether you have experience in SEN or a strong background in mainstream education, we welcome applications from individuals passionate about making a difference. This flexible opportunity offers full-time, part-time, and contract options, with roles available from February 2025.
- Support teachers in delivering lessons in both mainstream and SEN classrooms.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, ensuring students' individual learning needs are met.
- Assist with classroom management, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work with students requiring additional support, including those with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, and emotional needs.
- Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for students.
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies.
- A Level 3 qualification or a minimum of six months' experience in an educational setting.
- Experience working with children in either mainstream or SEN settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude towards supporting students of all abilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
