About this role
The Aladdin Studio ATX team is responsible for the stewardship, maintenance, and ongoing development of the Aladdin Tools for Excel (ATX) product. ATX is a widely used Excel add-in whose purpose is to retrieve data from Aladdin and allow end users to build custom workflows and reports with Excel. To ensure the future of the product, we are looking to recruit a senior developer to work in a small team dedicated to its continued success.
Job Description
* Gain an in-depth knowledge of how the software works.
* Become proficient at second line support for the product, working with colleagues in first line support teams and marketing personnel.
* Work on the design, coding, and testing activities at the most detailed level to ensure successful delivery of enhancements.
* Complement and learn from the current development team and leverage their deep historical and technical knowledge.
* Take on increasing responsibility and ownership of a product that is extensively used by many clients and end users.
Preferred Skills
* In-depth experience of C# development gained while working on desktop applications.
* Experience of working within a large corporate software ecosystem.
* Strong desire to produce high-quality code while solving client problems in a pragmatic manner.
* Knowledge and experience of modern dev-ops tools, preferably with ADO pipelines.
* Exposure to working with Excel, either as an add-in developer or by having worked with complex spreadsheets involving macros.
* Experience with REST APIs, gained either through involvement in their design or integration into software systems.

Our hybrid work model
