Controls Engineer - Coventry (Hybrid) - Up to £45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits - Permanent

What You Will Do:
Support the process for powertrain control requirements development.
Design, simulate, implement, debug, test, and research control and estimation algorithms for various systems within powertrain systems.
Engage with suppliers and other stakeholders to review hardware and software attributes.
Develop energy management/torque management Software and Controls for electric/hybrid/ICE powertrains.
Work closely with other team members and customers to deliver controls and powertrain engineering projects according to the plan.
Utilise automotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.
What You Could Bring:
An Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
Automotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.
Experience in automotive control systems software development, data logging, and calibration tools.
A working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols CANFD, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet.
Experience with Vector (e.g., CANalyzer, CANape) and Mathworks tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink) or equivalent.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a willingness and ability to work constructively with a global team.
A valid driving license for the UK.
