Position
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care Operative to join our professional Customer Care team in our North Thames Region.
Reporting to the Regional Customer Care Manager, your primary responsibility will be to represent the company to customers and purchasers of our private new homes carrying out remedial works and other maintenance works across assigned residential development sites, ensuring these are carried out within designated timeframes.
The role is based in the Didcot area, with travel to other sites as required.
Some of your key responsibilities:
* Undertake the completion and works of reported defects in occupied properties, with trade assistance as required, within the agreed timeframes ensuring customer satisfaction at all stages
* Deal with the maintenance of show homes and stock plots
* Work closely with different departments within the company, including Sales and Build, to understand procedures, legal requirements and completions, and carrying out of necessary works at different stages of the developments.
Requirements
* Previous experience of working within a similar role within the residential housing industry, or a trade background or similar is desirable
* Good all-round knowledge of house maintenance, which could include gas, heating, plumbing, decorating or carpentry, is desirable
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both internally and externally but with a particular customer focus
* Strong organisational, timekeeping and attention to detail skills
* You will hold a full UK driving licence
