Twinings Ovo has sales above £1 billion, across 10 business units operating in numerous countries globally. The Group Finance team is responsible for the collection, consolidation and analysis of financial data and for the design and preparation of reports in a multicurrency environment for a Group with multiple intercompany transactions. For both legal financial reporting and excellent management reporting to support business understanding & decision-making. The team is responsible for the communication of information to managers at all levels (including senior management) both within Twinings and within the broader Associated British Foods (ABF) Group and for supporting the wider business agenda. The Group Management Accountant has an integral part in the provision, analysis and communication of that information. Please note: This role is fixed term for 18 months and will be required to be onsite at Andover 3 days per week, Key Responsibilities General Support TM1/PAL administration (for 90 users) – manage changes (new lines, structural), new user setup/training, movers, new year creation, current month roll, queries, liaise with ICIT (our IBM support partners) Responsible for the Monthly Payroll upload to SAP Provide HR & SI support, reports, meetings, payroll calculations, forecasts, budgets monitoring actual performance vs forecast/budget Responsibility for distributing exchange rates, compiling cross rates, inputting and maintaining exchange rates in PAL Compile and distribute monthly Outlook report Update and distribute monthly LE Cashflow to ABF Provide backup on Capex/ and Monthly Management Report. Maintain and report the Adj MOP process Responsibility for Controller files - building, maintaining, and submitting and resubmitting files at month end/forecast/budget Prepare and send Divisional split report to ABF for relevant reporting events Year end support: New year roll in PAL - check all input sheets and dash-boards Yearend pack - pull together, issue to businesses, resolve issues and manage queries, manage submissions and resubmissions to ABF Budget actualisation in controller - update PAL BS and manage resubmissions to ABF for 12 entities Input FY comparable data into PAL (for LYC where relevant) Group month end: Run and issue Dashboards with PVMs Check all PVM (query and correct where wrong) including new brands by PVM Check all Brands (query and correct where wrong) including new phased GC/APTID reporting Manage PAL security (locking and unlocking) Compile and distribute Brands reports Manage Controller File submissions and resubmissions to ABF Update closing and average rates in PAL Group forecasts/budgets: Manage Controller File submissions and resubmissions to ABF Run and issue Dashboards with PVMs, consistency report, bridge, SRT8) Trouble shoot tax validation errors ensuring that ABF queries from prior submissions are addressed, working together with BU teams to ensure all validation checks are passed. Check consistency reports for each BU and ensure any queries are addressed. Run multiple versions of Summary and Analysis packs and arrange for the distribution of hard copies. Manage report and data collection changes (new output reports in analysis packs, and input data documents in PAL) Check all data especially PVM, brands, 6 pack, causals, bridge for errors, omissions and inconsistencies. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Advanced Microsoft office skills, including excel Knowledge of TM1 desirable Previous exposure to accounting in group/divisional multi-currency environment, particularly with a systems perspective Previous exposure to working with group reporting systems in group/divisional environment Accounting background (not necessarily qualified) with proven systems skills.
