Job summary We are looking to recruit a Practice Nurse as one of our nurses is leaving due to unforeseen circumstances. Our current team consists of a Senior Practice Nurse and two Health Care Assistants. This is a part time position, approximately 27 hours over 4 days. Flexibility is essential to cover the GP access hours rota and annual leave. You will need to be computer literate and experience with SystmOne would be preferable but not essential. Main duties of the job Duties to include general treatment room duties, phlebotomy, wound care, NHS health checks, ECG's, vaccinations and immunisations and other general nursing duties. We are happy to provide training and support to the right person to further their skills, according to the needs of the practice, eg cytology and chronic disease management. About us Kirkby Health Centre is situated in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We have approximately 4200 patients and work closely with our local Primary Care Network. Within the PCN we have access to a Clinical Pharmacist, Social Prescriber, First Contact Physio, Health & Wellbeing Coach and Mental Health Workers.
