The Governing and Strategic Initiatives Unit team is responsible for overseeing UK Pathways governance and ensuring effective communication and reporting between different groups. They are also responsible for reporting to the Office for Students (OfS), the regulatory body for higher education in the UK. What you’ll bring to the role This role requires a dynamic and experienced individual who has a strong understanding of governance and reporting with an ability to support the strategic growth of Kaplan Pathways. The successful candidate would demonstrate excellent leadership and decision-making skills, as well as the capability to build and manage relationships at all levels within the organisation. Attention to detail, strong strategic thinking abilities, strong data analysis and collation skills, along with exceptional communication skills are fundamental qualities for this role. Additionally, flexibility, agility and a collaborative approach towards working with cross-functional teams are other key traits needed to succeed in the position. The person should also be able to governance duties with strategic considerations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the unit while supporting in steering its long-term success and growth. Experience of reporting information to OfS, HESA or other regulatory bodies would be an advantage.
