Job Title: Reward Specialist – Exec Comp
About the role
We are hiring a Reward Specialist – Pay, based within HR at our Nottingham Support Office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about reward to support and lead on initiatives across all areas of Boots UK, No7 Beauty Company, and Boots Opticians. The role will report into the Reward Manager and work alongside the team to deliver on various projects including annual salary review, bonus, and gender pay gap reporting.
Some key responsibilities include:
1. Produce timely and accurate data and analysis to deliver agreed reward principles.
2. Work closely with the Reward Analysts to produce detailed and accurate reward reports.
3. Support and lead on pay-related reward projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Provide reward expertise and advice to business leaders and HR Business Partners.
5. Collaborate with team members in Reward, HR, Stores, Support Office, ROI, No7 BU, and Opticians to support shaping and delivering the overall Reward agenda.
6. Produce pay-related Reward communications, ensuring they are fit for purpose, engaging, and aligned to the overall communications plan.
7. Support the design and delivery of our reward initiatives relating to pay and look at ways to continually improve processes and ensure our offerings are appropriate.
8. Design and deliver processes and solutions that are simple and efficient to address specific business issues.
9. Apply governance to all our reward initiatives to ensure a fair and consistent approach in line with our principles.
What you’ll need to have:
1. Great attention to detail.
2. Strong Excel capability, with the ability to understand, analyze, and present complex data.
3. Strong experience of collaborative working.
4. High-quality communication skills in writing, presentation, and day-to-day interactions.
5. Flexible and proactive approach.
6. The ability to plan ahead whilst also responding to in-the-moment delivery, with excellent organizational and planning skills.
It would be great if you also have:
1. Experience of reward and/or payroll (desirable but not essential).
2. Experience in supporting and delivering a broad range of reward initiatives (desirable but not essential).
3. Experience of managing a project successfully, including budget, team, and schedule management.
4. Experience of working in a retail organization.
