About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our award winning CX and product design team, focusing on Accommodations. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to design user-centric solutions for web and app platforms, helping travellers find and compare the right Accommodation deals for their needs. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of delivering impactful and crafted experiments, including Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products, that push the boundaries of our hotel's product area. Plan and facilitate Design sprints and workshops to uncover new opportunities and evolve the hotel's product area. You will have the opportunity to own end-to-end journeys space and make a significant impact in one of Skyscanner's most exciting areas/verticals. Enhance hotel UX and UI quality and craft by ensuring consistency across verticals, seamless interactions, and cohesive end-to-end user flows. Collaborate with design peers and leadership to refine and improve the design process, advocating for meaningful, intuitive, and accessible user experiences. Leverage your effective communication, documentation, and facilitation skills to collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Content, and User Research teams. Work together to define, execute, and iterate on product features, achieving business goals and delivering outstanding user experiences while ensuring alignment with other verticals. Conduct usability testing to gain early insights into user interactions with our product and collaborate with our user researchers on more extensive research initiatives. Inspire and mentor a team of top designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high-quality work. Proficiency in A/B and user testing and ability to make sound commercial decisions that are also traveller-centric. Key Skills: Demonstrated Senior Product Design experience with a strong portfolio. Education in a design-related degree or relevant product design experience. Proven experience in Interaction Design, Visual and Motion design, and Research. Experience with Design Systems and design tools such as Figma, Miro, and prototyping software. Experience leading alignment sessions with stakeholders at every level. Strong collaborative and cross-functional team experience. Track record of delivering projects that users love. Experience with Design Thinking processes and facilitating workshops. You can think about bold, innovative, transformational, user-centric ideas and small ideas that can have a short-term impact. You're passionate and empathetic - you fall in love with problems, not solutions. You're a doer and a helper. Portfolio Criteria: A portfolio with best-in-class work that demonstrates your ability to shape broad conceptual ideas into desirable user solutions. We would also like to see your thought process from the hypothesis stage through the final result and the methodologies and frameworks you used. Following extensive surveys and workshops around our teams needs and preferences, we've returned to our offices in a hybrid working pattern: typically that looks like two days in the office, flexible to an individual's need. As such, this role would be a great fit for someone who lives within commuting distance of one of our Scotland and Barcelona offices. LI-SM2 LI-Hybrid LI-DNI
