Inclusive Learning Assistant 35 hours per week, Term Time (35 hours per week over 36 weeks) Fixed Term until 6 June 2024 Kilwinning Campus (The job holder may be requested to work at our other campuses when required) £31,017 per annum, pro rata Reference: REQ00897 As an Inclusive Learning Assistant, you will support the Curriculum Quality Managers in our Essential Skills department to develop and deliver a high quality and effective service. You will demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation whilst delivering a full range of learning support activities to assist students who require adaptation to their learning environment, enabling learner success. You will be qualified to HNC level or equivalent or have relevant equivalent experience. You will also have a Professional Development Award in Needs Assessment Practice or have a willingness to work towards it. Demonstrable experience of providing support to young people and/ or adults with additional support needs is essential, preferably within an education or related environment. You will also have knowledge of current developments and models of support for learning and understand relevant legislation and government strategies to promote learning and equality for people with additional support needs.
