SEMH Teacher

Salary Scale: £31,650 to £49,084 annually

An exceptional opportunity has become available for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive specialist setting in Havant. This full-time role involves working with secondary-aged pupils who experience social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, supporting them both academically and emotionally as they navigate a personalised education journey.

Your Role and Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support academic progress and personal development
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, creating a safe and supportive classroom environment
* Work closely with support staff, families and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach
* Implement consistent routines and behaviour strategies that promote self-regulation and respect
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with a genuine interest in SEMH education
* A calm, compassionate and proactive individual with strong behaviour management skills
* Experience in a SEN or alternative provision setting is desirable, though not essential

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
