About the role:
This role will sit within GeoSmart Risk division. As a small, dynamic team taking our unique Flood Risk data and reports to the Insurance, Lending and Property Professionals sectors, the Data Analyst will play a critical role in turning data into actionable insights that shape our business strategies.

The ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, communicate effectively and contribute ideas will be all key to success in the role. The Data Analyst will report to the Director of Product, working closely with each of our Board Directors and partners. The role requires someone who is keen to learn and grow, ultimately developing a successful career in Data.
What we are looking for:
* GIS and spatial data analysis knowledge / experience
* Statistics and analytical skills
* Environmental sciences or knowledge of flooding / flood risk data
* Interest or experience in business development
* Some experience of Python or coding is desirable
* Ability to analyse large and complex data sets to identify key insights and trends.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose data-driven solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn.
