We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in the professional services sector to work with our Commercial, Licensing, Property, Corporate & Finance and Dispute Resolution teams.
You will be responsible for developing and leading the strategy for securing net new business and building on existing relationships across all practice areas and in all geographies.
You will work with the heads of department across the firm, with overall reporting line to the Chief Executive.
The Senior Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities
* Generate new business leads for your area/sector by researching the market.
* Calling agreed targets/potential clients and build relationships.
* Follow up on new business enquiries from various sources, website, lapsed clients, event attendees.
* Design and follow a carefully set business development plan for the commercial departments, in partnership with the Heads of Departments.
* Work to new business targets and KPI’s as set by the CEO and Head of Marketing.
* Analyse existing approaches to the development of business, suggesting changes where appropriate.
* Carry out face to face meetings with key internal decision makers in commercial legal teams.
* Update the CRM system with key BD activities and maintain follow up actions including calls, client visits and Teams meetings where relevant.
