Our client is a privately owned specialist consultant based in Sheffield which has developed an enviable reputation in supporting its clients to deliver bespoke service offerings and solutions, including holistic design support and analysis, reverse engineering, product and manufacturing R&D and technical project management, amongst others. Sectors / applications cover civil, structural, mechanical engineering, aerospace, rail, defence and nuclear to name but a few.

The business has a strong can-do ethos with a passion for making things happen. Our client has experienced a period of significant growth, and indeed is set on an envious upwards trajectory over the next 5-10 years, and consequently wishes to appoint a high calibre Mechanical Design Engineer. The role reports to the Design Manager, and you will be joining a diverse, innovative and creative team working in a challenging and fast paced environment. Our client is proud of the fact that all of their services are offered as a conjoined or singular approach in-house as part of multi-disciplinary engineering team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of innovative, creative and winning design packages in line with client key drivers, and project programs and budgets.
