What You'll Do:
1. Responsible for the quarterly and annual financial planning and analysis for the SPL production.
2. Liaise with Production, Legal, Sales and Finance colleagues to ensure that all relevant information is obtained to enable accurate revenue, expense, and cash forecasts to be produced for each project in line with contractual terms and revenue recognition policies.
3. Responsible for producing a weekly cash flow forecast for the above mentioned projects.
4. Responsible for month end accounting closes and identifying and explaining variances from forecasts.
5. Liaising with production teams, finance and AR teams to ensure invoices are raised and payments received in line with contractual terms.
6. Advising and assisting production staff on financial procedures and dealing with all financial matters relating to the SPL project.
7. Support and development of two finance staff dedicated to the SPL project. Work with the team on a daily basis to drive accurate, complete, and timely cost reporting.
8. Liaising with Corporate Accounting and Treasury on related matters.
9. Ensuring appropriate financial governance and control is in place and is being adhered to.
10. Liaise with external audit teams as required.

11. Must be prepared to work additional hours as required to meet deadlines
You Have These:
12. Experience of financial planning and analysis - working with both finance and non-finance staff
13. Qualified Accountant (or studying for final stages) ACA / ACMA / ACCA or equivalent
14. Monthly management of accounts
15. Closing books each month
16. Review budget vs variance analysis
17. Understanding of the functions of other Finance departments, e.g., Treasury, Tax, AP and AR
18. Able to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problems
19. Confident and flexible team player
20. Must be able to determine priorities and organise work to meet deadlines.
21. Must be able to work on own initiative to identify problem areas and work through to a satisfactory conclusion
22. Good Excel skills
We'd Love If You Also Have These:
23. Experience of working in a Media related environment
24. Experience in using SAP accounting system and other budgeting / forecasting systems
25. An understanding of the television programme production budgeting process
Working Conditions:
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm
Working Days: Mon-Fri
