Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive team player to join and develop within our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing furniture pieces and applying various coatings and finishes to products, assembling and packaging our range of bespoke joinery, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our company standards.
This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a workshop environment.
Duties
1. Prepare surfaces for spraying by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary.
2. Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint or coatings accurately.
3. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Assemble components as needed before spraying processes.
5. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
6. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency in the spraying process.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar role is not essential; training will be provided.
2. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
3. Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing paint or coatings accurately.
4. Experience in a workshop setting is a plus, particularly in roles involving fabrication or assembly tasks.
