Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer on a 12 month contract based in South East.
Role Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer Nuclear will be responsible for ensuring relevant customer standards are understood and adhered to in order to meet the traceability requirements of Nuclear contracts. The role will include the control of each contract QA requirements, taking the leading QA on assigned contracts including discussions with customers, setting up of QA systems as required, QA inspections, review and approval of documentation and involvement in designing design and assembly processes.
There will be a frequent requirement to undertake inspection of electrical control panels and advising Project Managers and the wider team of QA related issues. The role will also be required to assist any administrative support in maintaining quality records, particularly around life time quality records.
Previous experience of working in a nuclear supply chain or other highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
