St Vincent College is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Sport to join our well-established Sport programme. This exciting permanent position involves teaching both Level 2 and Level 3 Sport courses offering an opportunity to make a real impact on the education and development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality lessons on BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Sport courses.
2. Provide coaching, practical sport instruction, and support for students both in the classroom and during practical sessions.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
4. Foster a positive, engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience delivering BTEC qualifications (Level 2 and Level 3) in Sport or similar vocational qualifications.
2. Strong knowledge of practical sport and coaching methodologies.
3. A genuine passion for sport and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
4. Experience in coaching and delivering practical sport activities.
5. Ability to engage students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
6. A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
