Hybrid working: In the office at least 2 days a week (starting with 3 days a week to get accustomed to working with the team)

Your Purpose
Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
Chartered Civil Engineer.
Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
Sound knowledge in ocean waves, tidal theory, extreme value statistics, nearshore wave processes and sediment transport.
Design experience of coastal structures such as flood defences, sea walls, breakwaters, revetments and beaches to appropriate codes and standards such as BS6349, EurOtop manual and rock manual.
The ability to plan and direct others in the use of numerical modelling to simulate wave propagation, tidal flows hydrodynamics etc
