You'll Fit Right Inn
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Business Partner to join our team. The role is a key stakeholder in our 5 year plan to ensure as a group we deliver insight and support to colleagues across the business. This is based at our Head Office in Quorum Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
We are looking for a driven, collaborative and accountable Finance Business Partner. Candidates should understand the importance of managing a team and the role of finance in providing insights to deliver on key objectives to support Budget and KPIs. The role will be responsible for managing the budget, forecast and financial modelling for the Group. Alongside month end reporting, analysis and business partnering with key operational business leaders.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Accountable for Budget and Forecast processes of the Group
* Key performance indicator calculation, ownership and monitoring. Including creation of KPIs relevant to operating plan objectives
* Financial modelling and data visualisation working closely with Group BI Analyst and Group Data Analyst, combining financial and non-financial information to provide insight. Work undertaken through own initiative and as directed by Lead Team
* Monthly reporting and analysis of financials and KPIs
* Month end completion and reconciliations, including monthly review with Senior Finance Managers
* Finance Business Partner to of our Operations team and support hub colleagues, conducting budget & KPI reviews
* Manage team including objective setting, regular reviews supporting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
* Compliance to Banking Covenants support
* Key player in our Legal Entity simplification project
* Champion data lead decision making and provide business partners with concise and effective insights to action

Required Skills
* Fully Qualified ACA or equivalent
* Passion for data visualisation to monitor and support KPI delivery
* Financial modelling including 3-statement consolidated financial statements
* Consolidation and accounting knowledge
* Ability to merge financial and non-financial datasets to analyse performance
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people of all levels and build trust
* Dynamic and committed with strong organisational leadership, insisting on the highest standards
* Ability to adapt and prioritise to changing business needs
