FINTEC recruit is looking for a Wet Spray Painter f or a precision engineering business in Buckingham. This is a permanent role with hourly rate £17.50 to £20.00 depending on experience plus overtime at enhanced rates, plus benefits such as healthcare, insurance, contributory pension. Our client is a leader in manufacture of high quality sheet metalwork, supplying sheet metal components to a range of industries. You will have experience of applying industrial paints on a range of metallic substrates of varying size, shape and batch quantities to a high standard finish.
Hours of work: 40 hours, 07:00 a.m to 17:00 pm. Monday to Thursday, finish 15:00 p.m on Friday or earlier depending on hours work, flexible on start/finish times
Responsibilities.
• Preparation & degreasing of metalwork prior to starting the painting process.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, selection and apply material specifications.
• Perform equipment clean downs and maintenance.
• Painting all parts to a high standard, efficiently and consistently to customer quality expectations and timeframes.
• Packing of components.
• Ensure safe working and correct use of PPE.
S kills and Experience required for the Wet Spray Painter:-
• Minimum of 5 years in a Spray Paint role working with sheet metal components or similar
• Eye for detail achieving and meeting company quality standards
• Experience of commercial stoving spraying paints and experience of Defence Standard Paint Systems is essential.
• Ensure that tight deadlines are met
