We're looking for a Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join us in Bradford.
This role is hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
As part of the continued growth of our Legal Operations Team at Liberty Shared Services (LSS), we are looking for a qualified Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join our Network Damage Recoveries team.
In this role, you will be responsible for running your own portfolio of damage recovery matters using a case management system, supported by a Team Manager and Senior Manager to ensure your growth in your legal career.
What will you be doing?
1. Dealing with a portfolio of mid to high value claims across the Fast Track, Intermediate Track and Multi Track.
2. Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
3. Preparing urgent applications where appropriate.
4. Attending Mediation and settlement negotiations.
5. Supporting with ad hoc queries from stakeholders.
6. Conducting due diligence checks and preparing comprehensive reports.
7. Attending meetings with key stakeholders and third parties.
8. Providing key insights and updates on matters to your Team Manager.
9. Supporting junior colleagues by providing feedback and training.
10. Staying abreast of industry developments, legal updates, and best practices.
11. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
12. Participating in business development efforts, including client presentations, marketing, and networking opportunities.
We tend to look for people with:
1. Qualified Solicitor/CILEX - (1-5 years PQE).
2. Excellent knowledge of CPR, case law, and litigation.
3. A strong background in civil litigation; experience in network damage recoveries is desired but not essential.
4. Excellent relationship-building skills, gaining client trust and understanding their objectives.
5. Strong influencing and persuasive abilities.
6. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
7. High levels of attention to detail, prioritization, and accuracy.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
