We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.\n\nThe below job description will outline this position of: EC&I Engineer (Subsea Equipment)\n\nTypically, this person will be responsible for designing and developing offshore and subsea equipment, participating in every phase of the project life cycle. Their involvement spans from understanding client requirements through design, development, installation, testing, customer acceptance, documentation, training, and occasionally providing post-sales support.
Additionally, they offer support to other business functions, including Sales, Project Management, Procurement, Production, Commissioning, and Documentation.\n\nHSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.\n\nDuties and responsibilities of the EC&I Engineer:\n\nDesign of offshore and subsea equipment \n\t\nDesign of distributed control systems (PLC, SCADA) \n\t\nDesign of network and communications systems including RS485, MODBUS and Ethernet protocols \n\t\nDesign of low voltage and extra low voltage control circuits \n\t\nMeasurement systems & instrumentation \n\t\nSelection and integration of subsea surveillance, vision and lighting systems \n\t\nUsing CAD to design and produce top level system diagrams, interconnecting wiring drawings, and detailed electrical, control & instrumentation schematics \n\nQualifications and requirement for the EC&I Engineer:\n\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or similar \n\t\nPractical experience/background in the subsea industry\n\t\nExperience of machine control systems / automation \n\t\nAutodesk AutoCAD \n\t\nAutodesk Inventor \n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
